Off of his meds and unmanageable, Alan does lives life towards the fullest, until his father drops dead after talking with him. When his friends and family choose that Alan needs real help, they convince him to see a recovery facility called, "New Horizons." As Alan as well as the remaining Wolf Pack (Phil, Stu, and Doug) attempt their journey, fallout from a couple of their previous outings lands them in another unexpected situation. As Doug is forced right into a car, using a gun to his head, the Wolf Pack is ordered to locate and capture a vintage friend, Leslie Chow. With little more than a message to guide them, the Wolf Pack finds itself getting into deeper and deadlier situations, potentially resulting in greater than Doug's death.
In the 3rd and likely final installment with the Hangover franchise, Ken Jeong takes center stage, reprising his role as Alan's psychotic pal, Leslie Chow. As in the prior editions, Jeong is his usual fun, freakish, and ridiculous self. Despite the funtastically disturbing stage presence of Jeoung, "The Hangover Part 3" lacks several critical factors, factors which made the initial 'Hangover' so memorable and outstanding, in a really disturbing and entertaining way. In spite of that which you have come to expect, according to its background and title, Alan (Zach Galafianakis), Stu (Ed Helms), Doug (Justin Bartha), and Phil (Bradley Cooper) never get the drunken stupor which ultimately leads these to lost some time and forgotten moments captured on a smartphone storage device. There are not any Hangovers, only a scene with Chow amped on coke and singing, while parachuting through the Vegas strip, as depicted in promos. Except to the cameos created by several characters in the original movie, the most recent edition had hardly any that is similar to its progenitors. Lacking the gritty and gross out factors that set previous editions aside from generic buddy films, "The Hangover Part 3" stumbles along, resting on the back of an oddly entertaining Ken Jeong. The movie is fun, although not the climactic conclusion that it is promos would love you to think.
